A graduate of Chapman University with B.A. in Dance, Katy has spent the last decade performing in and choreographing numerous musical productions both locally at the 5th Avenue Theatre and Village Theatre as well as numerous theaters in Los Angeles and New York. Most recently, she choreographed Billy Elliot for Village Theatre and looks forward to choreographing Singin' In The Rain for Village in the fall. Favorite performance credits include: Funny Girl, Chicago, and The Producers (all at Village Theatre), Spamalot (5th Ave.), as well as 42nd Street, White Christmas, and Young Frankenstein, amongst others (all in Los Angeles).
She was a member of the New York-based, international touring women's tap company, The Honey Taps, as well as a featured dancer for the Robbie Turner Revue in its residency at the Hard Rock, Seattle. She is passionate about sharing her love of performance with her students and helping each student to discover his or her own unique dance voice.
