Educator, dancer and choreographer, Alisha Walsh has an overall passion for movement and the joy that comes when sharing it with others. She has studied jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop and contemporary/lyrical for the past 20 years with some of the industries leading master teachers. Moving to Seattle in 2013, Alisha took a break from teaching and choreography to focus on her own personal development as a dancer and educator. She has taken courses and spent many hours independently studying research from the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science. She recently completed the Summer Dance Institute for Teachers taught by world-renowned educator, Anne Green Gilbert, becoming certified in teaching brain compatible dance education. In the summer of 2016 she became a certified yoga teacher earning her RYT200. Seattle has given her a new holistic approach to teaching dance and she is excited to continue to build upon it by exploring new ways of moving!
